Rescue Roast Coffee Malva Pudding Recipe

Serves

6–8 people


Ingredients

Pudding

  • 1 cup cake flour

  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 tablespoon apricot jam

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 125ml milk

  • 60ml strong Rescue Roast coffee

Coffee Caramel Sauce

  • 125ml cream

  • 125g butter

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 60ml strong Rescue Roast coffee

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Step 1: Prepare the Oven

Preheat oven to:

180°C

Grease a medium baking dish.


Step 2: Mix the Batter

Whisk together:

  • Egg

  • Sugar

  • Apricot jam

  • Butter

Add:

  • Flour

  • Bicarbonate of soda

Then stir in:

  • Milk

  • Freshly brewed coffee

Mix until smooth.


Step 3: Bake

Pour into the baking dish.

30–35 minutes

until golden brown.
