Our Commitment to Transparency
Rescue Roast® is a privately owned commercial business that sells coffee, hot chocolate and related products. Rescue Roast® is not a charity, non-profit organisation, public benefit organisation or donation platform.
Our purpose is to create meaningful commercial partnerships with animal welfare and rescue organisations while offering customers quality products they can enjoy.
How Our Rescue Partnerships Work
Rescue Roast® works with participating animal welfare and rescue organisations through commercial partnership arrangements.
Depending on the applicable partnership, participating organisations may earn commission from qualifying Rescue Roast® sales associated with their organisation, products or referral links.
The exact commercial terms, commission structures and arrangements between Rescue Roast® and participating organisations may differ and are confidential between Rescue Roast® and the authorised representatives of the relevant organisation.
A purchase made from Rescue Roast® is a commercial transaction between the customer and Rescue Roast®. The amount paid by a customer is not a charitable donation, and Rescue Roast® does not collect charitable donations from customers on behalf of participating organisations.
Additional Support Provided Through the 101 Pet Products House Blend
In addition to the commission arrangements that may apply to participating Rescue Partners, additional financial and practical support is provided to the Rescue Roast® initiative through revenue generated from sales of the 101 Pet Products House Blend.
Revenue generated through the 101 Pet Products House Blend may, at our discretion, be used towards costs associated with operating, administering, developing and promoting the Rescue Roast® initiative.
These costs may include, without limitation, marketing and promotional expenses, graphic design and artwork costs, product and label design, website and administrative expenses, promotional material and the subsidisation of certain courier and delivery costs.
These expenses are incurred in addition to any commissions that may be payable to participating Rescue Partners and form part of the broader commercial support provided to the Rescue Roast® initiative.
From time to time, we may also elect to provide additional practical assistance to participating animal welfare or rescue organisations where we become aware of a particular need. Such assistance may include, for example, groceries, prepaid electricity or other practical support.
Any such additional assistance is provided entirely at our discretion and on a case-by-case basis. It is not guaranteed, does not form part of any Rescue Partner's commission, contractual entitlement or guaranteed benefit, and does not create any obligation to provide the same or similar assistance to that organisation or any other organisation in the future.
The provision of discretionary assistance to one Rescue Partner should not be interpreted as creating an obligation to provide equivalent assistance to another Rescue Partner, as individual circumstances and needs may differ.
No representation is made that any fixed amount, percentage or proportion of revenue generated from the 101 Pet Products House Blend is allocated to the Rescue Roast® initiative, participating Rescue Partners, or any particular animal welfare or rescue organisation.
Purchases of the 101 Pet Products House Blend remain ordinary commercial transactions and should not be interpreted as charitable donations or as creating any right on the part of a customer or Rescue Partner to determine how the resulting revenue is allocated or applied.
Historic Packaging & Label Changes
Rescue Roast® has evolved over time, including the structure and terminology used in relation to our animal welfare partnerships.
Some older Rescue Roast® packaging, product labels, photographs, promotional materials or historic social media content may therefore contain wording that is no longer used in our current branding or commercial communications.
Rescue Roast® currently operates its participating rescue relationships through commercial partnership and commission arrangements. Our current website, product information and partnership disclosures reflect the terminology and commercial model presently applicable to Rescue Roast®.
We are progressively updating our product labels, packaging and associated marketing materials to ensure consistency with our current branding and terminology. As packaging and labels are manufactured or printed in batches, older packaging designs may occasionally remain visible in historic photographs, archived material, previously produced stock or other legacy content.
Where there is any difference between historic wording or packaging and our current disclosures, the information published on this website reflects Rescue Roast®’s current position and operating model.
Independent Organisations
Every animal welfare or rescue organisation featured by Rescue Roast® operates independently.
While we are proud to work with participating organisations, Rescue Roast® is not responsible for their management, activities, financial decisions, governance, representations, conduct or use of funds received through their own operations.
Participation in the Rescue Roast® partner programme should therefore not be interpreted as Rescue Roast® assuming responsibility for, controlling, managing, endorsing or guaranteeing the activities, governance, financial affairs or conduct of any participating organisation.
The use of an organisation's name, logo or branding on Rescue Roast® products, packaging, website pages, social media or marketing material does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, fiduciary or representative relationship between Rescue Roast® and that organisation beyond the specific commercial arrangement agreed between the parties.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, no participating organisation has authority to make representations, commitments, warranties or contractual undertakings on behalf of Rescue Roast®, and Rescue Roast® has no authority to make such commitments on behalf of the participating organisation.
We encourage customers who would like additional information about a particular organisation to visit that organisation's own website or contact them directly.
Rescue Organisation Names, Logos & Intellectual Property
All names, logos, trade marks, service marks, emblems, artwork, branding and other identifying material associated with animal welfare or rescue organisations featured on the Rescue Roast® website remain the property of their respective owners, organisations or licensors, as applicable.
The display, reproduction or incorporation of any such name, logo or branding by Rescue Roast® does not transfer, assign or confer any ownership, proprietary interest or intellectual property rights in that material to Rescue Roast®.
Rescue Roast® displays such names, logos and branding for purposes connected with identifying participating organisations, communicating the relevant commercial relationship, promoting products associated with those organisations and administering or promoting the Rescue Roast® partner programme.
Where an organisation has supplied its logo, branding, photographs, artwork or other materials to Rescue Roast®, or has authorised Rescue Roast® to use such material in connection with its participation in the programme, Rescue Roast® may reproduce and display that material for purposes reasonably connected with that relationship. This may include use on product labels, packaging, product images, digital mockups, website pages, social media, advertising, promotional material and other Rescue Roast® communications.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the appearance of an organisation's name, logo or branding on the Rescue Roast® website, products or marketing material should not be interpreted as transferring ownership of that organisation's intellectual property to Rescue Roast®, nor as giving Rescue Roast® any authority to license, sell, assign, transfer or otherwise dispose of that intellectual property to any third party.
Similarly, the display of a participating organisation's name, logo or branding does not give any visitor, customer, reseller or other third party permission to reproduce or use that material.
Third parties may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise use the names, logos, trade marks or branding of participating organisations merely because such material appears on the Rescue Roast® website or on Rescue Roast® products or promotional material. Any permission required for such use must be obtained directly from the applicable rights holder.
Rescue Roast® retains all rights in its own name, registered and unregistered trade marks, branding, product names, product designs, packaging layouts, website content, photography, graphics, written material, marketing material and other intellectual property owned by Rescue Roast®, except for third-party material incorporated into such content with permission or for identification purposes.
The inclusion of third-party logos, photographs, artwork or branding within Rescue Roast® packaging, product images, advertising or other material does not transfer ownership of the underlying Rescue Roast® design, layout, photography, written content or other original Rescue Roast® intellectual property to the third-party organisation.
If an organisation ceases to participate in the Rescue Roast® partner programme, Rescue Roast® may remove its name, logo and related branding from current website pages, products and promotional material as reasonably practicable.
Historic photographs, archived website content, previously published social media posts, historic packaging, previously manufactured labels, promotional graphics, digital mockups or other legacy material may, however, continue to contain that organisation's branding. The continued existence or accessibility of such historic material should not be interpreted as representing a current or continuing commercial relationship between Rescue Roast® and that organisation.
Where products, packaging, labels or promotional material containing an organisation's branding were lawfully created while that organisation participated in the Rescue Roast® programme, the subsequent termination of that relationship does not alter the historical nature of those materials.
Any organisation or rights holder who believes that its name, logo, branding, photograph, artwork or other intellectual property has been displayed incorrectly or without appropriate authority is requested to contact Rescue Roast® so that the matter can be investigated and, where appropriate, corrected or removed.
Product Images & Mockups
Product images displayed on our website may include digital mockups and are intended for illustrative purposes.
While we make every reasonable effort to represent our products accurately, the final product supplied may differ slightly from the image shown, particularly regarding print positioning, label size, packaging appearance, colour reproduction or other minor manufacturing variations.
Packaging, labels, containers, colours, finishes and other visual elements may also change from time to time due to supplier availability, manufacturing requirements, product improvements or updates to our branding. Where this occurs, the product supplied may not be visually identical to the image or mockup displayed on the website.
These variations do not affect the quality, quantity, specifications or intended use of the product unless specifically stated otherwise.
Our Commitment
Rescue Roast® believes that commercial partnerships can create meaningful and sustainable support for animal welfare organisations while allowing customers to enjoy products they love.
We remain committed to transparency about how Rescue Roast® operates and to maintaining professional relationships with the organisations participating in our partner programme.
