Rescue Roast® was brewed from a simple idea: what if something as everyday as your morning coffee could also help create meaningful commercial opportunities for animal welfare organisations?
We're not just coffee lovers — we're pet people through and through. Rescue Roast® is a proudly South African business created by the team behind 101 Pet Products, a business devoted to enriching the lives of pets across the country.
With strong roots in the animal welfare community and a genuine love for animals, we wanted to create something that brings joy to people while building sustainable commercial partnerships with organisations doing incredible work for animals.
And so, Rescue Roast® was born.

To deliver exceptional, locally roasted coffee while building sustainable partnerships that allow participating animal welfare organisations to earn commission from qualifying Rescue Roast® sales.
How It Works
Rescue Roast® partners with animal welfare and rescue organisations across South Africa through our commercial partner programme.
Selected Rescue Roast® products, collections and referral links may be associated with participating organisations.
When qualifying purchases are made in association with a participating organisation, that organisation may earn commission from the resulting sale in accordance with its individual commercial partnership agreement with Rescue Roast®.
Customers are purchasing products from Rescue Roast®. A Rescue Roast® purchase is not a charitable donation, and Rescue Roast® does not collect charitable donations from customers on behalf of participating organisations.
Every partnership has a story — and every cup gives customers an opportunity to choose products associated with organisations and causes that matter to them.
From Pet Products to Purpose
The team behind 101 Pet Products has worked closely with the pet and animal welfare community for many years.
Through involvement with rescue organisations, adoption initiatives, pet expos and animal enrichment projects, we have seen first-hand just how much work goes into caring for vulnerable animals.
We wanted to develop a model that could create an ongoing commercial benefit for participating organisations rather than relying solely on once-off initiatives.
Coffee offered the perfect opportunity.
