Mocha Hot Chocolate Coffee

The perfect combination of coffee and chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso or 60ml strong coffee
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 250ml milk

Method

  1. Mix cocoa powder and sugar with a small amount of hot milk to form a paste.
  2. Add the espresso.
  3. Heat the remaining milk and froth lightly.
  4. Pour into the coffee mixture.
  5. Stir thoroughly.

Optional Toppings

  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Cinnamon

Pro Tip

This recipe works particularly well with darker roasted coffees.
