Some stories break you. Others brew you into something stronger.

Sold in aid of The 9th Day Animal Rescue.

This blend honours the quiet courage of our long-term dogs — the ones who’ve been overlooked, misunderstood, or simply waiting too long. They don’t beg for love — they become it, once they feel safe.

  • A deep chocolate base offers strength — like the dogs who hold on, hoping for “their person.”
  • Nutty smoothness brings a sense of peace — like a cautious heart finally melting into a belly rub.
  • And that subtle brightness? That’s the spark that returns when they know they’re home.

Strength rating: 5–6/10.

Comforting. Deep. Steady.

This coffee is for anyone who believes healing doesn’t happen in a hurry — but always finds a way.

We’re on the journey ourselves, operating from two sites while we build a forever home on our own farm just outside Krugersdorp. The road may be long — but we know exactly where we’re going. And that kind of hope deserves to be shared, one mug at a time.

About The 9th Day Animal Rescue

The 9th Day Animal Rescue is a compassionate, volunteer-driven organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused, neglected, and unwanted animals. Based in South Africa, The 9th Day offers a lifeline to the voiceless — dogs and other animals who have suffered deeply and need a second chance at life.

What sets The 9th Day apart is its unwavering focus on healing — not just physically, but emotionally too. From bait dogs and cruelty cases to senior pets and hoarding victims, each rescue is treated as an individual with a name, a story, and the right to a better life. The team works tirelessly to provide medical care, love, and rehabilitation, ensuring every animal has the opportunity to find a forever home where they are truly cherished.

While the rescue traditionally operated without a formal shelter and relied heavily on foster homes, the current setup includes two active sites: a kennel facility in Krugersdorp (rented) and a privately owned farm just outside Krugersdorp. The long-term vision is to consolidate operations entirely on the farm, where construction of permanent kennels is already underway. This move will offer stability and security, ensuring that The 9th Day always has a safe space to continue its vital work — without the uncertainty of rental agreements.

Although the journey is often tough, The 9th Day stands firm in its mission: to be the voice for the broken, the brave, and the overlooked — until every heart has a home.
