101 Pet Products
At 101 Pet Products, our journey began where all the best stories do — with rescue dogs. When we adopted our two beloved rescue pups, we quickly realized they needed more than just love and a safe home. They needed extra help adjusting, enrichment to keep their minds busy, and calming products to ease their anxiety. That experience inspired us to start our pet shop, focused on providing products that help pets not just live — but truly thrive.
While we’re not a rescue organization ourselves, we are deeply committed to making a difference for animals in need. As the company and driving force behind Rescue Roast, we use our business to shine a spotlight on incredible rescue organizations and raise vital funds through every bag of coffee sold. Because for us, it’s about more than products — it’s about creating a community that cares.
We’re also the proud owners of Pawphoria, a lifestyle brand that celebrates the joy, humor, and unconditional love our pets bring into our lives. From custom apparel to accessories, Pawphoria helps pet lovers show off their passion in style.
At 101 Pet Products, we believe that business can be a powerful force for good. Through our platforms, our products, and our partnerships with rescue organizations, we’re proving that even small actions can lead to life-changing results — one rescued heart, one coffee cup, and one happy home at a time.
9th Day Animal Rescue
The 9th Day Animal Rescue is a compassionate, volunteer-driven organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused, neglected, and unwanted animals. Based in South Africa, The 9th Day offers a lifeline to the voiceless — dogs and other animals who have suffered deeply and need a second chance at life.
What sets The 9th Day apart is its unwavering focus on healing — not just physically, but emotionally too. From bait dogs and cruelty cases to senior pets and hoarding victims, each rescue is treated as an individual with a name, a story, and the right to a better life. The team works tirelessly to provide medical care, love, and rehabilitation, ensuring every animal has the opportunity to find a forever home where they are truly cherished.
While the rescue traditionally operated without a formal shelter and relied heavily on foster homes, the current setup includes two active sites: a kennel facility in Krugersdorp (rented) and a privately owned farm just outside Krugersdorp. The long-term vision is to consolidate operations entirely on the farm, where construction of permanent kennels is already underway. This move will offer stability and security, ensuring that The 9th Day always has a safe space to continue its vital work — without the uncertainty of rental agreements.
Although the journey is often tough, The 9th Day stands firm in its mission: to be the voice for the broken, the brave, and the overlooked — until every heart has a home.
