Cancellation policy

By confirming your subscription, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms set out below.

1. About these terms

These terms relate to your purchase of goods or services from Rescue Roast® on a recurring payment basis (“Subscription”), including the administration, payment, continuation and cancellation of your Subscription.

2. Setting up your Subscription

When you agree to a Subscription, the payment amount, frequency and duration will be shown to you before you confirm. Rescue Roast® may update or end a Subscription at any time, subject to applicable law.

2.1 Rescue Partner products and substitutions

Certain Subscription products may be associated with, branded for, or selected in support of a particular animal welfare or rescue organisation participating in the Rescue Roast® initiative (“Rescue Partner”).

Rescue Partner participation may change from time to time. If a Rescue Partner associated with your Subscription leaves, is removed from, or otherwise ceases to participate in the Rescue Roast® initiative, your Subscription will not automatically be cancelled.

In such circumstances, Rescue Roast® may, at its own discretion, replace the affected Rescue Partner product with another suitable Rescue Partner product or a substantially equivalent product available through Rescue Roast®. Your Subscription will continue on its existing recurring payment schedule unless you or Rescue Roast® cancel it in accordance with these terms.

By subscribing, you acknowledge that the continued participation of any particular Rescue Partner cannot be guaranteed for the full duration of your Subscription and that a change in the Rescue Partner associated with your Subscription does not, by itself, terminate, suspend or cancel the Subscription.

3. Cancelling your Subscription

3.1 If you want to cancel your Subscription, you must contact Rescue Roast® directly.

3.2 If your Subscription included a discount compared to Rescue Roast®'s usual once-off purchase price, Rescue Roast® may charge you a reasonable penalty on cancellation, in line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008. Rescue Roast® will inform you of any such amount, if applicable.

4. Communications

All questions, requests or updates relating to your Subscription, including without limitation cancellation or payment changes, must be sent directly to Rescue Roast® using the contact details provided on the checkout page, confirmation email, Rescue Roast® website or otherwise provided by Rescue Roast® from time to time.

The payment service provider does not manage customer queries, Subscription changes or cancellations on behalf of Rescue Roast®.

5. Payments and authorisation

5.1 Subscription payment methods

Subscriptions are available by credit card payment only. Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT), direct bank deposits, bank transfers, cash payments or any other manual payment method cannot be used to create or maintain a Subscription.

This requirement applies because Subscription payments are processed automatically on a recurring basis. A valid credit card capable of supporting recurring payments must therefore remain linked to the Subscription for as long as the Subscription remains active.

5.2 Recurring payment authorisation

By agreeing to a Subscription, you authorise Rescue Roast® (through its payment service provider) to charge your selected credit card automatically for each recurring payment until the agreed end of the Subscription or until you or Rescue Roast® cancel it.

You are responsible for ensuring that your credit card details remain valid, that the card remains active and capable of processing recurring payments, and that sufficient funds or available credit are available for each scheduled payment.

6. Rescue Roast® policies

Your Subscription and any related purchases are also subject to the Rescue Roast® terms of service, privacy policy, refunds policy and any other applicable policies or agreements. Please review these policies and documents before completing your purchase.

7. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Rescue Roast®'s failure to enforce any provision of these terms will not constitute a waiver of its rights.
