Its focus is specifically on sick and abused animals. The organisation provides emergency shelter, treatment and rehabilitation for animals whose condition places their welfare or survival at risk.
Once animals have recovered sufficiently, suitable animals may be made available for adoption. Animal Ambulance describes its residents as family and works to give vulnerable animals a genuine second chance.
